What we do

A place of simple, peaceful living, in close relationship with the 4 elements.
Earth, air, water and fire.
Gardening in small hillside terraces,
to the sound of breeze through the trees, watering plants with saved snow,
melted by fire or the Sun.
Intentions and actions are to be in harmony with the moment of the day. To do what needs to be done with appropriate timing for the situation. No rush, never late, always present.
I am beginning to build a small natural material structure, for the first fire resistant structure, made with most materials all found on-site. Rocks, dirt, wood and metal. The wood logs and other exposed wood will be covered with non burnable clay. The roof will be of metal, with a built in water catchment system.
There are several secluded hillside spots for small, earth bermed living structures, which will be available to create, with and for select individuals. These will occur slowly by me, and/or when the right individual arrives.
I, (T) and dog partner of 10 years, Ki (kee), live by ourselves on the semi-remote land, which I call TKi Land. My vision is to have select individuals, who are in alignment and agreement with certain guidelines that I have, to be creative contributors. Leaving behind you a trail of useful beauty…

Preserve the Serra de Carnaxide

This event will be supported by the meeting of a group of collectives of citizens, who are promoting the preservation of a mountain range. Then, we will have a popular dinner and we will see one of the interviews that will broadcast between February 1st and 6th. Description of the civic movement Serra de Carnaxide, with 600 hectares, is one of the few green spots in the metropolitan area of Lisbon that can contribute to the improvement of air quality and public health, promoting adaptation to climate change. There are currently urbanization projects that threaten the Serra de Carnaxide, some of which are ongoing and others are in the planning or project phase. Its implementation would destroy the Serra, causing significant impacts in the short, medium and long term, both for the populations and for the environment, which includes interesting dimensions in terms of soil, water, flora and fauna, in addition to classified architectural heritage. The preservation of the Serra will promote the sustainability of the water environment (rivers and groundwater) and the associated ecosystems. The richness in groundwater is evidenced by its past use, materialized in the architectural heritage constituted by the Carnaxide aqueduct and the Francesas aqueduct (both subsidiaries of the Águas Livres aqueduct) and its skylights, circular structures and mother-of-water . Current scientific knowledge, sustained governance practices, as well as agreements and treaties to which Portugal is committed, including the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (imposing targets to be reached by 2020), impose the urgent need for a new management of the territory of Serra of Carnaxide. It is possible to find innovative solutions for an integrated and sustainable management of the natural and architectural heritage of the Serra de Carnaxide, recognizing and taking advantage of its immense environmental and socio-economic value, in addition to tou

Whitsun festival

What do you know about your feelings? Where do they come from and what are they there for? “Most people are not in the least aware of the fact that they create their feelings themselves. For them, feelings are involuntary, irrational surges of sensation which originate somewhere mysterious, deep in their subconscious. In fact, a feeling arises from an interaction between thought and environment.” Quote from the book “Feelings, How to Use Them Intelligently”, Vivian Dittmar. To know more about how you create feelings through interpretation of what is happening allows you to interact in a powerful way with your environment. This is not about controlling and manipulating your feelings. Instead, it is about knowing their true source and being able to take responsibility. It is about using your feelings to connect to life and share your beauty and your inspiration  while at the same time healing old emotions that previously were not visible. This festival can completely change your perspective on how you deal with feelings in your life! And more: It will surely enrich your perspective on how to be in the world and contribute powerfully to a sustainable, creative and nourishing lifestyle. An atelier for consciousness, creativity and joie de vivre. With lectures, performances, workshops, live music, children’s and youth camps… Small workshops in the afternoon allow a deeper immersion into the experiential spaces of feelings. “Feelings as powers” – Whitsun festival in ZEGG Community (Germany, near Berlin) 22.05. – 27.05.2015 Designed and performed together with Vivian Dittmar, the author of the book “Feelings, How to Use Them Intelligently” [email protected]
