What we do

Located in the beautiful Noosa Hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast region in Queensland Australia. Our place is a 50 acre, rather remote, plot near the top of Black Mountain with views of our surrounding volcanic region. Our wondrous place is 1/3 cleared grass/gardens, 1/3 forested timber, and 1/3 rugged native bush. There are endless varieties of feathered, fury, and scaly creatures — we enjoy and respect them all! Native regeneration underway over 30 years and we are now more permaculture focused (to care for the land, care for people, and share the abundance).

Our Vision

YUNDA eco is a nature sanctuary and sustainable homestead offering life / work experience in environmental regeneration, resourceful building and sustainable homesteading. We apply permaculture, organic and biodynamic practices in our efforts to create highly nutritional gardens, thriving ornamental and edible orchards, and natural habitats where native plants, animals, and people may flourish. We offer internship and short courses in horticulture, native regeneration, ecology, geology, bio-dynamics, astronomy, and weather — as well as music, art and meditation retreats. Our community is growing and always welcomes like-minded people.
