About the Community

What we do

If you get excited about the idea of living in community with others in a vegan, environmentally-conscious, spiritually-rich, alcohol and drug-free home, we would love to connect with you! We are open to individuals, couples, or a family with one or two children. The house is spacious and full of light. Recent environmental upgrades include reclaimed hardwood floors, induction cooktop, heat pump space and water heating, a highly reflective metal roof, solar panels, rainwater catchment systems and electrification of the entire house, The lot is sunny with lots of room for growing things. We are converting most of the yard to a verdant, organic food forest, watered by grey and rainwater. There are a hot tub and outdoor shower in the garden. There are currently two vacant bedrooms. One is a master suite with private bathroom. The other room is more modest and whoever has use of that room will share a bathroom with us. The bedrooms have reclaimed hardwood floors, ample closets, and large windows. We are a married couple. Since we share our home with others, we look for people whose lifestyles and values are compatible with ours. For example, we value wise use of resources, good communication, respectful interactions, veganism, and work that contributes to the common good. We love to connect with those who share our home. We enjoy delicious shared organic whole food plant-based meals together often.

Our Mission

Embodying a vegan, environmentally-conscious, spiritually-rich, alcohol and drug-free community with opportunities to work together with multiple organizations to have an impact on how we live as a model another way of living.
