About the Community

What we do

Hi, I came to Panama in 2021 to seek community, but did not find the right fit for me, so I set out to find my own land. And recently I did! The same day that I viewed the property Fula The Goddog presented herself to me and we have been together ever since. Here we are, in our 5th month, on 3 hectares of lush land with plenty of organic coconuts and tropical fruits on their way, limited by sea in the front and the river in the back. From the beginning it was clear that this land is made for a self-sustained community and I am looking for proactive people to join me. Plenty of volunteers have stayed over since I moved here in November 2022 and there are also good links with the locals. The project is just starting, many hands are needed and clear minded skilled people are welcome and wanted for trial living periods. The vision is that neighbors live independently, but agree on ethical principles and lifestyles and contribute to the community project of growing food and perhaps partner in undertakings such as ecotourism, retreats, trainings and alternative recovery programs. Alcohol or mind altering drugs won’t be permitted. Daily elevation through movement, voice and art is thought as another pillar for this community. I am a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher and welcome members to share their spiritual practices. It would be great to have you on board!

Our Mission

Gurfateh means victory of light over darkness – within and without. The commitment is to live in elevation of each other and others once the project can provide.
