The St. Louis Ecovillage Network supports the formation of ecovillages and intentional communities throughout the St. Louis area.
Our members live in established communities, are in the process of forming communities, or are interested in seeing what other people are doing. We have the goals of lessening our ecological footprint, sharing resources, and creating community, and we embrace different types of intentional community projects with these goals in mind. We seek to create diverse communities that are broadly inclusive across race, age, income, class, religion and sexual orientation.
For many years, we met monthly for site visits, discussions, workshops, and potlucks, but recently we have lacked organizers and hosts for those events. We welcome new members to help organize new events and have resources to share, namely, a contact list of folks who have expressed interest in intentional community in the St. Louis area.
