We currently have 2 spots available, one for a tiny home plot and one for a room in a shared house:
Tiny Home Plot: a spot available for a Tiny Home. The tiny home for the available spot must 20ft in length or shorter (not including the hitch tongue). We have electric and water hookups. No sewer hookups.
Room in a shared house: There is a room available in a shared house. There is one other roommate. This is the community house, the living room, kitchen, bathrooms, and basement are available to all community members.
About Us: We are an intentional community on 2/3 acre in the Cully neighborhood in NE Portland.
There are 4 tiny houses on our land plus 2 traditional sized houses (one with indoor community space & laundry), a wood shop, bike shop, bike shed, and ample garden space!
Community members commit a required minimum of 6 work hours per month to group projects. Attendance at one Community meeting per month required. We have potluck dinners on Sundays (attendance optional). We celebrate some holidays together (winter solstice, summer solstice, spring equinox, etc.) and we go on a community retreat together once per year (often to the beach, usually first weekend in October). We share chores and yard work, play board games, watch movies, etc. We enjoy doing projects together. We have a workshop with shared tools.
All races, colors, national origins, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations are welcome. We are especially excited about welcoming folx who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQ.
Currently 8 people live in our community. We range in age from 4-45. We have a variety of beliefs and worldviews, from Atheism to earth spirituality to semi-paganism. We collectively have many interests and hobbies including gardening, ritual, carpentry, ecstatic dancing, video games, yoga, reading, hiking, cycling, playing music, RPGs, community organizing, and many more!
We are socially conscious, emotionally intelligent, and everything (Poly, LGBTQ, open relationships, whatever) friendly. We are mindful of our environment and what gets put down our drains, we have community agreements about chemical usage.
There are opportunities to gain equity in the property for folks who have lived with us for at least two years and who get along well with our community.
