We are a family of 3 who have been living off-grid in the Cascades for over a decade. We currently have 6 wooded acres surround by thousands of acres of wilderness land. The grid is only 5 miles away. The road in and out of here is a rough 4×4 logging trail. We get snowed in almost every winter for a few days to a few weeks. We have a micro hydro-electrical plant, solar, and windmill. We have very good water up here. And clean air. The perfect situation is to find folks who have a travel trailer or RV that they already live in but need a good place to park.
We live clean and respect nature but we’re not fanatics. We live this way to get out of the poisons of the city. Our main mission is to survive on our own. When there are electrical blackouts in our area we never know because we always have electricity and it is clean and free.
