What we do

The Reunited Society of Believers is a wisdom-centered, Christ-rooted spiritual community committed to embodied faith, radical compassion, and egalitarian life together. Drawing from sacred scripture, mystical tradition, and lived experience, we seek a faith that heals rather than harms, liberates rather than controls, and restores both people and creation to wholeness. We believe God’s wisdom is alive, relational, and accessible, calling us into lives of depth, justice, joy, and shared responsibility for the world we inhabit.
Core Principles of RSOB
Wisdom-Centered Faith
We seek the deep truths Wisdom speaks in sacred scriptures, recognizing God’s Word daily. Our faith is practical, transformative, and holistic, empowering every person toward meaningful living.
“Wisdom calls aloud in the streets… let the wise listen and add to their learning.” (Proverbs 1:20, 5)
Embodied Spirituality
We celebrate the sacredness of embodiment, affirming bodies as divine gifts, not obstacles. Through movement, shared meals, artistic expression, and community celebration, we honor the divine presence in our lived, physical experiences.
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” (John 1:14)
Radical Compassion
Following Christ’s radical ethic of love, compassion, and hospitality, we practice profound openness and active care for those marginalized by society. We actively seek justice and restoration, believing this is how we truly embody Christ’s heart.
“By this everyone will know you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)
Organic, Egalitarian Community
We reject hierarchical structures built on fear or control. Instead, we embrace egalitarian, communal leadership, believing God’s wisdom resides equally among all voices in mutual discernment, respect, and dialogue.
“For you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)
Creation Care as Spirituality
We honor creation as sacred, caring passionately for the earth.
Our spirituality is ecological, understanding stewardship and sustainability as central acts of worship.
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” (Psalm 150:6)
A Life-Affirming Ethic
We embrace life’s pleasures and joys as divine blessings. Our ethic promotes abundant life, reconciliation, and relational wholeness, rather than restrictive morality grounded in shame or fear.
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
Contemplative and Active
Our spirituality harmonizes contemplative depth with compassionate activism. We pray deeply, act justly, and integrate mystical awareness into ordinary life.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
“Faith without works is dead.” (James 2:26)
