Welcome to all genders, orientations, colors, abilities, family structures, and any other “label” I did not think of, because you are an individual not a label.
Perhaps you have money to invest to get the community moving? Perhaps you have mad building, gardening, foraging, or other skills? Perhaps you are “just” a regular person that seeks simplicity and are willing to come and be a part of something? PERFECT! You are ALL just who we are looking for. Because all of you are willing to try, to put in the time physically and emotionally, to get dirty and maybe make mistakes, to lift each other up, to take responsibility for yourself while at the same time knowing that none of us were meant to walk alone.
The vision thus far:
As simplistic, low-tech life style as we can achieve in this day and age. Always working towards the most self sustaining life with the smallest footprint possible.
Small homes and/or shared housing, built from materials on the land or scavenged/repurposed. No plastic, foam, treated wood.
Low tech – Not just off-grid but striving for no-grid. Mostly hand tools rather than powered; heat and cook with wood; share two or three vehicles for getting to town and gathering wood; privy; hand pump water from a well, etc.
Very little of any kind of plastics or similar. Things like tarps and buckets and storage totes may be minimally needed until we are settled and learn to make natural substitutes or do without. Also, many of us would already have some of these things and it would wasteful to throw them out until they are used up, but when they do we will not replace them with like items.
Garden, raise animals, hunt, fish, forage. We would strive to provide as much of our own food as we can. All of our food (produced or bought) will be as minimally refined/processed as possible. We will grind grain for whole flours and cereals; little or no white flour and sugars.
Dogs, like people, must be a good fit with those already within the community.
Drug, alcohol, and smoke free.
This is a broad overview. But at the same time I do not wish to impose too much. Let’s keep it simple.
Living in community, supporting one another to be our best selves and to live as simply as possible.

Come visit. See if the austerity works for you. See if we are all a good fit for each other. Then try month to month for awhile. Then a decision is made if this is home for you or you are ready to move on.
Reach out and let’s chat.
Also, ignore the stats. All humans regardless of color, gender, orientation, or ability are welcome here if they are willing and blend well with everyone.
