What we do

Hello!

Looking for 7 to 15 optimistic, life-loving, vegetarian/vegan partners for community in Belize!

Coconuts, bananas, mangoes, avocados, cashews, macadamia, guava, cacao, moringa, citrus, pineapples, etc from your front yard!!!  The property is private, forested, higher elevation on a pristine river that empties into the Caribbean several miles away.

Open to all people who are genuinely ready to have their freedom and who have the courage/patience to make community work!  :D  Of course you will have the opportunity to visit and see the location and the framework on which all is being built.

If you have substance addictions, you will likely not be happy here.  While the ceremonial use of the entheogens is acceptable and can be practiced, recreational use won’t be.

If you are a chronic complainer and spend significant amounts of time dwelling on or ruminating over all that is wrong in the world, you also will almost certainly be miserable here!

If you are constantly on your phone (for whatever reason), or have DDS (Digital Dependency Syndrome), or want a community where you can be a digital nomad (though this may be discussed under the premise that would be part-time and only for a period of transition out of the Zombie Parade reality), you will probaly not be happy.  We are real humans disconnecting from the existing unhealthy artificial reality and reconnecting with the living created world.  :D

Now that I’ve shared with you the characteristics of those for whom this place won’t work, I’ll talk more about the vision and for whom this place would be ideal.

Activities and Cottage Industries Onsite:

Education Hub– A model for healthy humans, healthy relationships with healthy communication immersed in genuine freedom.  Occasionally we’ll open our doors to those with chronic illness or who have a genuine interest in becoming a part of our lives and potentially add to our numbers.

Permaculture (100% food sufficient)– Creation of perenial food forests, focus on soil health/composting.

Alternative Energy (100% self-sufficient)– Experimenters welcome.

Home Schooling / Unschooling / Nature-based Education– ZERO shipping off of children to local school-prisons.  Home-birthing gives kids the best welcome into the world possible.  You feel the same.

Plant Medicines (100% Pharmaceutical-free environment)– Food and herb-based (“Let food be thy medicine…”) approach to health.  If you rely on Big Pharma’s chemicals for “health” (rather the appearance of health) ANR/OR if you have been injected with any of the mRNA “vaccines” and/or any boosters, and/or believe the official narative about supposed corona virus, this isn’t the fit you’re looking for.

Non-Traditional Family Structures (Welcoming of all kinds of relationship dynamics, with EMPHASIS on HONESTY, accountability, reliabiility, authenticity, personal integrity, and loyalty/commitment– not a great fit with the how polyamory is “typically” practiced).  Written contracts NOT encouraged in your relationship dynamic, but NOT looking for flighty, high-maintenance, drama-oriented individuals that attract/create volatile interactions.  If these things have often emerged in your previous relationships, it’s not a deal-breaker, but consider carefully whether, how, and why (and IF) you are no longer attractiving/manifesting that.  It will definitely be discussed.

NON-Digital, WIFI-free Zone (no use of wifi or blue-tooth, or any other wireless tech which is harmful to biological life).

Spiritual/Religious Component–  If you are a traditional Christian (whatever denomination), Muslim, or any other mainstream modern religion, we will not likely to be a fit.  HOWEVER, if you believe, the Creator already lives inside you, as well as every other living creature, we are likely to be a GOOD fit.  :)  A creed or belief system that honors the Creator by honoring  Creation and oneself should mean we get closer to God the more we look within and the more integrated we become with the living world.  :)  No requirement to believe the same exact things.  If you beleive LOVE holds all things together, have respect for other living beings, and generally practice the Golden Rule, we have a common foundation.

Model for self-sufficiency and sustainability with a non-corporate, non-consumerist back-to-basics focus.

Model for health, healing, and viatality.

Various cottage industries…..

Spirulina “farming”

Cashew, Cacao, Moringa, Coconut, Macadamia “farming” (open to your ideas)

Healthe/Healing Retreats

EcoTourmism

Natural Building Workshops

If you generally disagree with the world’s system and its values and feel you are ready to detach…   if you would like to live close to nature in your own natural home, I’d LOVE to hear from YOU!

The Land…

There is a well and it borders a large river.  You could build any type of NATURALLY BUILT structure your heart desires (that would NOT include earthships– vulcanized rubber is toxic).

You can acquire up to 5 acres per “family” or as few as 1.  You would own your parcel within the context of the above lifestyle and community principles.  The 1-acre parcels will start at about $10k.  Some will be a bit less.  There may be some flexibility in this, especially if you’re wanting 5 acres.

Water Birch Co-op. Urban living in central Denver.

Large, lovely house built in 1900, two blocks from Cheeseman Park in downtown Denver.  5000 square feet. The house was a Buddhist Meditation Center for 20 years before we got it and has lovely, calm vibes. We currently have ten people and have room for one more. We are an intentional community sharing dinners, 3 living rooms, 2 new kitchens and a kitchenette, & 5 baths. Staple food (organic) is bought together. The group is self-regulating as a co-op; it decides together how the house runs. There are chores ;-) Average cost per room is about $1000 ranging from $650 to $1354. Currently available room is $875. We are just finishing renovation of three bedrooms on the third floor  they are $875 each and share our largest, newest bath (shower and separate claw foot tub) and a brand new kitchenette  they all have beautiful windows and lots of light. PLEASE CHECK OUT COMMUNITY LISTINGS FOR MORE INFO. Initial lease for 3-6 months while we and you decide if we are a good fit for each other.  Deposit in the amount of one months rent is required prior to move in.  We do background checks on all members. Utilities are currently $130 per person per month and are all-inclusive.  They will change if costs go up, that amount is insufficient to cover utilities, or more people mean the cost per person goes down.  WiFi is via mesh network from gig-speed fiberoptic service.  Heat is with radiators.  Cooling is evaporative.  We have a storage room in a nearby commercial facility.  And a new large workshop in the garage. Shared food is $125 per month per person; it is a pass-through cost divided evenly among residents; it does NOT include meat or alternative protein nor any alcohol.  We will not be surprised if that needs to go up some soon ($10 or 15). We have two dogs and three cats in the house  that seems like a sufficient quantity of furry friends for now. Our community intentions include: Communication with compassion. Shared space and life. Shared meals. Shared staple foods which are non-GMO and Organic. Group decision making. Safe, inclusive space: queer and trans friendly, anti-racist, non-violent, and feminist. The purchase of the house by the co-op in about five years. The expansion of the co-op, possibly to include other housing types (like separate apartments). Weekly meetings and house committees to manage our community. We are considering implementing Sociocracy as an organizing method. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am. We are looking for community members who: Want to live in a community not just have a place to sleep and eat. Want to live in a beautiful, clean, and organized house and are willing to help make and keep it that way. Residents should expect to spend 16 hours per month towards this goal. Are curious, compassionate, flexible, and open to living with others who will undoubtedly have different ideas about many things. Are interested in pioneering a new co-op. There will be work involved to get there. Are responsible and communicative. Embrace enthusiastically that living in community requires introspection and personal growth. Are not joining the community as a way of running away from something.
