What we do

Namaste Village is a contemplative interfaith spiritual community in Ajijic, Mexico along Lake Chapala, the biggest lake in Mexico. We have a wide range of spiritual practitioners including Unity, A Course In Miracles, Anglican and Buddhist, and we each have our own contemplative practice. We currently have 44 apartments or casitas and an eclectic family of residents. The founder of the community is James Twyman who is a NY Times bestselling author and Peace Troubadour. The Lake Chapala area also has the 2nd best weather in the world and was voted the #1 area in the world to live on a budget.

Our Vision

The family at Namaste Village believes that a shared intention of unity and non-dual spiritual practice brings us into harmony with each other and the world. We are committed to being a positive presence to our Mexican neighbors and support a wide variety of local charitable projects.
