What we do

We are family and our friends, 3 adults and 5 young humans. Several years ago we found this piece of land with an old settlement. We made the barn livable and right now we are spending our 4th winter in it. Another standing barn we are about to turn into a ceramic workshop. The old house is inhabited by our 5 goats but we plan to move them out and turn it into a library and apothecary in the near future. There are several other foundations of old houses that we wish to rebuild.

We live in Transylvania’s Apuseni mountains. This region is rich in minerals and wildlife. We are pretty isolated and our closest neighbors all have similar lifestyles. We have huge territories to roar around, several water sources on property, forests full of mushrooms and old orchards. Last year we started beekeeping and we see great potential in it since we are surrounded by mountain flora and black locust forests. We have several pillars to earn our income that we want to develop: herbal medicine, bee keeping, cheese making, kiln building, ceramics, gardening, seedlings and saplings. George occasionally works in IT to supplement our income, but overall we want to try getting our income locally. We love sauna and swimming in pond all year around.

Our Vision

We’re on the lookout for like-minded individuals to join us in caring for our animals, cultivating diverse plants, constructing homes and workshops, and providing spaces for artists to unleash their creativity. We are discovering a true sense of abundance here.

This place has the potential to not only sustain us but also to offer a fulfilling lifestyle rooted in nature and creativity to more people. As we dive deeper into understanding this environment, our awareness grows, and we yearn for freedom and conscious choices to unlock our full potential.

We’re searching for kindred spirits to embark on this nature-driven journey with us—working together, inspiring one another, and sharing the joy of creation. If you resonate with our vision, let’s explore this pathway together!
