Lockheart is a haven for those seeking a sustainable, cooperative way of life, nestled on 12 acres of land. We’re gathering interest from potential members as we prepare for infrastructure development in 2024. Our community values sustainability, mutual support, and transparency, and we offer a unique blend of shared values and personal independence. The membership process involves interviews and site visits.
Email [email protected] with the timing of your stay, details about your accommodations (eg. are you tenting, how long is your RV, etc.?) and who you will be arriving with (people and pets).
A few people (not elected by the broader community) make the major decisions.
Power and responsibility are shared relatively equally among members.
Members maintain separate personal finances with minimal sharing.
