What we do

Hello! We’re a married couple stewarding 50+ acres of forested land in western Washington. We’re looking for future neighbors who are excited about rural living, growing food, and building a cooperative, respectful community culture.

We currently have three parcels. One has an existing home, which we plan to sell once our second home is completed in about a year. A third parcel has a working well and could support another home in the future. We have a large parcel we could split into two or more. Our hope is to find neighbors who share an interest in land-based living and collaborative problem‑solving.

We’re not trying to create a commune or a rigid system — just a small neighborhood where people support each other, share some projects by choice, and practice good communication. We know that living near others with different personalities can be both rewarding and challenging, and we value open minds, patience, and a spirit of cooperation, which is also what we strive to practice.

If this resonates with you, we’d love to start with a slow, thoughtful conversation. Expect weeks or months of exchanging messages to get to know each other and see whether our visions align.

Be well.
