We are so happy you’re here already with us even if it’s just for the moments you are reading this. :) We are looking for a large house close to Oakland or Berkeley or Emeryville where we can share space and be a shining light of service and sustainable living. Our vision is a spacious home where some people pay only $1000 and others may pay up to $1800. We’re creating a group that embodies diversity in skin color, body shape, physical ability, gender, LGBTQIA, and spiritual practice. We hope to cook together some of the time although we don’t need to share the grocery shopping. We see a fun and warm household of people ranging in age from 0 – 100 so that we share the wisdom of many ages of people. We hope to move by July 1, 2023. Yes, July 1! We already meet once a week on zoom and we hope you’ll join us. We have 2 dogs, both about 25 pounds, both great with children and other dogs. Happy to train them with a cat as well. We hope you’ll join us in finding a home.
We create deeper connection to ourselves and each other and embody spirituality in diverse forms. We bring this sense of connection and heart into actions that improve life for all we encounter.
Attend weekly meetings at least twice a month. Meet on zoom with all community members to see if it’s a fit. Be actively involved in our process of searching for a home, i.e. willing to fill out applications and look at places most weekends in May and June.
Everyone must agree before moving forward.
Primary authority rests with the community’s founder(s) or designated leader(s).
Members maintain separate personal finances with minimal sharing.
