What we do

We are a nine-unit intergenerational urban community under construction in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle, with plans to move in late 2025. We have five homes available for purchase, perfect for those seeking intentional living in a vibrant cohousing community.

Our homes are arranged in three townhouse-style triplexes, all nestled around a lush central courtyard. Each two-story home shares a wall with at least one neighbor and includes private, covered porches in both the front and back. We have nine 2- and 4-bedroom homes, all with washers and dryers, with the larger units including a first-floor bedroom and full bathroom. Every home will have a no-step entrance, wide doorways, and a bathroom on the ground floor.

At the heart of our half-acre site stand towering 70-foot Douglas fir and cedar trees, surrounded by a growing Pacific Northwest native forest. Our shared outdoor space will feature a hot tub, fire pit, winding paths, a fragrance garden, and a bird-attracting fountain. Crow Woods will also have raised garden beds for shared vegetable gardening and may even include a chicken coop! Our goal is to have the site certified as a backyard wildlife sanctuary, creating a peaceful haven in the city.

A key part of life at Crow Woods will be the small common house, where we’ll gather for community dinners at least twice a week. Residents can cook in their own homes, often together with neighbors, then bring their meals to the common house to share. We’ll also have storage space for gardening tools, bicycles, and shared community items like camping gear and kayaks.

Crow Woods is located in a close-knit neighborhood along Meridian Ave, just a mile from two light rail stations with easy access to buses. We’ll have three off-street parking spots with electric charging capabilities and convenient street parking nearby, though our goal is to use public transit whenever possible.

If you enjoy city living, spending time with neighbors, and being part of a welcoming community, come join us at Crow Woods!
