It has become apparent that our world is changing and changing fast like never before in human history. Some of these changes are causing people to feel insecure, frustrated, and overburdened, making life seem almost unbearable. So many people today find themselves overwhelmed by more responsibilities, more uncertainties, more misinformation, more distractions, more division, more control, more fear, and inevitably more stress. We live in a world more connected than ever before, yet in many ways, as human beings, we could not be more disconnected. It’s no wonder why depression, anxiety, addiction, loneliness, divorce, and suicide rates are at an all-time high, affecting the lives of every one of us. It is precisely in times like these that we need to reach out, connect and create the change that we want to see in our lives and the world around us. If we want things to get better, we must come together and do our part for a brighter tomorrow and a happier future!
Who We Are and What We Stand For
We are a family of four in search of like-minded people who want to join us in building a community rooted in unity, dignity, and mutual respect. Our vision is about far more than shared beliefs, which often serve to divide us; it’s about honoring our shared humanity and understanding that we are all connected, coming from the same place and connected to the same force that holds us all together. In this community, we aim to transcend personal beliefs and focus on treating each other with genuine respect, recognizing that we are all part of one interconnected whole.
We believe that the humility to acknowledge what we don’t know is essential. None of us truly knows how to live; that’s a hard truth that many shy away from, yet it’s one that binds us. This is why we must stay open-minded, questioning the notion that we have things ‘figured out’ or that any of us hold the right to control or stand above another. It’s this very mindset that fuels disconnection and diminishes our capacity for understanding.
Together, we seek to live with open hearts and curious minds, supporting one another without pretension. Our community will be a space where we let go of the need to impose, control, or judge, and instead embrace life as an ongoing journey of learning and connection. Currently, we’re based in the Laurentides, but we remain flexible on location, as we know these decisions are best made collectively, with everyone’s voice and wisdom valued.

In our journey to create a space for authentic connection and growth, we’ve explored many communities that, sadly, seem to lose sight of their purpose. Instead of being a haven from the world’s selfish and greedy ways, many have become a reflection of them, rooted in control, exclusivity, and material gain. These structures, burdened by rigid rules, steep financial demands, and questionable intentions, often stray far from the essence of community: a place of mutual respect, care, and collective well-being.
At Coexist Community, we envision something different, something simpler and more conscious. Our approach is not about controlling others or erecting barriers to belonging; it’s about removing them. We believe that community should be a place where people can come as they are, contribute what they can, and feel valued simply for being part of the collective.
We reject the notion that connection and collaboration should come at the cost of large sums of money or unreasonable demands. Instead, we are focused on creating a space where giving, sharing, and mutual support flow naturally. We aim to foster a culture of abundance, not in material possessions, but in love, understanding, and shared purpose.
Our membership is designed to embody the values we hold dear: oneness, equality, freedom, and respect. It is about living consciously, coexisting harmoniously, and supporting one another in a way that reflects our shared humanity and interconnectedness with all life. By simplifying the process and removing the distractions of greed and control, we can focus on what truly matters: creating a community that nurtures growth, healing, and evolution for everyone involved.
Power and responsibility are shared relatively equally among members.
