What we do

Small sustainable living and mind-body wellness co-housing in Livermore, CO near Fort Collins. Ownership is by Tenancy in Common. Two suites available. Suite One is two bedrooms (or bedroom & office) with private bath on the main floor. Beautiful views/large picture windows in both rooms. The space is about 550 square feet. Suite Two is a walkout basement with large private patio area, 600 square feet. 28 X 12′ bedroom, full bathroom and shared 18 X 30 living/office/rec area. Can be furnished or not. Has it’s own patio space and views of the pasture and mountains. Both suites can come furnished if desired. Each has a private full bath. There are 3 suites total, all on separate floors. The entire house is 3000′. There is LOTS of raised bed veggie and herb gardening space, flower boxes and containers and flower beds. We’re adding permaculture and gardens that are not raised bed. All 3 suites share a kitchen on the main floor – granite, every kitchen appliance imaginable and sparkly clean. All appliances are top of the line and 3-4 years old. There is a rec room and workout space in the basement with gym equipment (weights, stairmaster, treadmill, rowing machine), an entire craft and floral workshop, sewing machine, and too many crafting options to list. Also a tool workshop, and lawn games, deck furniture, etc. The house is full of beautiful windows and light. Opportunities for watching wildlife are endless, and there are hummingbird and regular bird feeders on the deck as well. Two pets/owner are allowable per the ownership agreement. Housekeeping will be negotiated in the ownership agreement. The current home value is ~$660k. Appraisal will be conducted prior to signing. Suite one is available at 25% of the Home Appraisal value. Assuming the property appraises at $660k, that would mean $8250 down, PMI, Insurance, property tax & HOA costs (25%) of ~$250/mo, loan payment of $748/mo and total mortgage pmt of $1000/mo. Suite two, with exclusive rights to the walkout basement bedroom suite and patio area at 30% ownership. Suite three (occupied, includes 45% ownership including exclusive use of the land. All of this is negotiable depending on how much you want to be involved in the land use. I am working toward adding permaculture and even more raised beds and gardens, as well as wildflower plantings. The HOA http://www.glacierviewmeadows.com/. There are several social groups for cards, gardening, games, volunteer work, and more – check the links in the description. There is a shuttle service that picks up groceries once a week (you place the order online at the grocery store). We have airlift helicopter on call 24/7 for $600/year membership for immediate hospital emergency needs. There are several live music scenes nearby. The house is 35 minutes from old town Fort Collins Colorado – one of the most beautiful cities in in Colorado. https://downtownfortcollins.com/visit/places-to-discover://downtownfortcollins.com/visit/places-to-discover Our weather is a little more snowy than Fort Collins at 8000′ elevation, but cool in summer, and we still have 50+ degree days about half the time even during Dec, Jan and Feb (the coldest months). The current resident in Suite 3 is a 54 yr old semi-retired scientist/author/gardener. My current work involves social advocacy and policy surrounding mental health, CMC consulting in Biotechnology, and working on my blog which includes subjects such including science, psychology, natural and alternative medicine, mindfulness & spirituality. Looking for cohousing members who are interested in permaculture, sustainability, intentional community, mindfulness and mind-body health. There are horses on the property, and interaction with horses is encouraged. Can ride from property to just about all trails in Roosevelt NF. Current resident loves scrabble, risk, cards, crafts, music, hiking, photography, gardening (did I mention gardens?), outdoor live music venues, Fort Collins and the entire Colorado culture and much much more! With the suites arranged on separate floors, there is adequate space for personal space and private time. But some communal time should be anticipated as well. There is high speed internet suitable for remote work and you’ll often catch me working outside on my computer on the deck in summer.
