About the Community

What we do

(2015) In a nutshell; we have networked with other communities in the area, and we working on a self sustainable community of our own within the larger community. We ourselves are just a small farm of friends and family, though we are open to newcomers. We have a few other communities in our area in which we try to maintain a network with; some more then others. So we are a community of communities within the cedar county area. (2022 Update) I was calling it quits, but people keep calling me; so I am looking for new “leaders” who might have business partnership potential. My co-founder and former business partner didn’t work out, nor the other community members. I am trying to keep the faith, but it’s not easy most days. At the moment, I am just raising goats and looking for assistance. IF a sustainable community is in the cards for the future, I will be open to it; but I don’t have much hope. That other community I bought into in 2012, too was a bust. So there is buy in options there, if anyone is interested in starting a community there, let me know; it is three miles from my main property. We can start buying out the other owners. Meanwhile, I’ll just be here with my goats.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create and produce our own food, medicine and utilities. Whatever we are not able to create ourselves, we will promote and/or rely on others in the larger community for those things. We also promote CES and are working an Ubuntu environment.
