What we do

We are building a small, heart-centered eco-community in the Nass Valley of Northern British Columbia—a sanctuary for families and individuals seeking a simpler, more grounded way of life rooted in shared values, mutual respect, and regenerative living.

Our land is off-grid, nestled in wild beauty, with established infrastructure, community buildings, and plenty of space to grow. Our intention is to co-create a space where children can thrive in nature, where online work supports land-based living, and where spiritual life is welcome.

Our Vision

To co-create a family-rooted, off-grid eco-village where regenerative living, spiritual openness.

We are building a small, values-aligned community in the Nass Valley of Northern British Columbia, designed for families and individuals ready to live simply, steward land together, raise children in nature, and share resources.

Rooted in a plant-based, substance-free ethos, our mission is to support a life of clarity and connection, honoring both personal sovereignty and shared responsibility. We welcome those walking their own path, who are drawn to community, and living in the mountains, and caring for the land.

How to join

The membership process begins with an introduction and visit. Prospective members start by reaching out to share a bit about themselves and their interest in the community. If there’s alignment, we invite them for a short-term visit to experience daily life here and get to know the land and residents. If both sides feel it’s a good fit, we then discuss long-term options, including land contribution, monthly fees, shared responsibilities, and lifestyle agreements. A trial period follows, during which the new member integrates into community rhythms before full membership is confirmed.

Basic expectations or agreements for members

We welcome visitors who are genuinely interested in experiencing life in our community. If you’d like to visit, start by contacting us through our website or email with a short introduction that includes who you are, why you’re interested, and whether you’re coming alone or with others. After that, we’ll set up a brief call to discuss your visit and clarify expectations. Most visits last between three to seven days, depending on the season and available space. We offer basic accommodations, including camping with your own gear or a simple cabin or dorm stay if available. Sometimes we also have volunteer exchange opportunities. All visitors are expected to respect our community guidelines, which include a plant-based diet, no recreational drugs or alcohol, and a general attitude of respect and participation. This is a functioning homestead, not a retreat center, so visitors are expected to engage with daily life while they are here. If you’re interested, please get in touch.

Most land within our community is offered on a 10-year renewable lease, giving individuals or families time to build or live in their own home while contributing to shared life. Leases are re-sellable with community approval, allowing members to transfer their lease to another aligned person if they choose to leave. If a lease is not sold when a member departs, the house and lease return to the community for reassignment.

We also have a number of existing rental units and buildings that may be available for individuals or families to live in. These units generate income for the community and are also used seasonally for Airbnb or short-term rentals, with all proceeds going directly back into shared infrastructure and expenses.

Each household contributes between $300 and $500 per month, depending on the number of residents and the time of year. These contributions support snow removal, road and building maintenance, vehicle and equipment repair, insurance and other communal needs.

This model allows for both long-term commitment and flexibility, offering members a sense of stability while protecting the integrity and continuity of the community as a whole.
