Join author, activist and educator Starhawk and community land catalyst Cassandra Ferrera in a timely exploration of what it means to build community in the Great Uprising. As the global movement for social and environmental justice gains momentum, our community building efforts seem ever more important. How do we align with the values of deep social liberation?  How do the cultural repair work in our communities such that we aren’t recreating even more subtle forms of white privilege and supremacy?  How do we create, support and honor safe/safer spaces? How can our communities help create the deep healing and transformation needed at this time?

Starhawk is also the recipient of the 2021 Kozeny Communitarian Award, an award given annual by the Foundation for Intentional Community to honor the lifetime achievements of community leaders. Learn more about the award here. During the event, Cassandra will officially give Starhawk the award.

Join us for this celebration of Starhawk’s life and work!
