Intro to Gaia Education’s Framework for Sustainability

REGISTER NOW

Join Giovani Ciarlo of Gaia Education to learn about the four dimensional aspects of their sustainability mandala – economic, ecological, social and worldview – and how they’re interlinked. Discover how it can help anyone living in a community to create an equal, functional, net zero community, whether it’s a rural, urban or suburban setting.

Giovanni Ciarlo, who has a long background in starting up an ecovillage in Mexico, will share how he uses the 4 dimensional framework to overcome conflicts and issues. And how you can facilitate conversations in your community about holistic sustainability, embracing a whole systems approach.

This is an introduction to the Gaia Education Design for Sustainability (GEDS) course.

During this session you will learn:

  • What is the four dimensional framework
  • How the four aspects – – social. ecological, economic and worldview – are interlinked
  • Examples of how the framework can be used in practise, and to facilitate conversations in your community
  • How a whole systems approach can be applied to any setting: urban, rural, suburban, ecovillage etc.

Loved by Community Builders

What a beautiful gift to our intentional community builders and leaders! FIC’s programs provide a way for thinking and concerned people to collaborate for solutions to our multitude of global crises. Thank you FIC! – Terri Garcia

I am constantly impressed by the down-to-earth practicality of the FIC workshops combined with the philosophical questions that are so vital for us to explore. I’m grateful for the excellent planning and delivery of the workshops by skilled and inclusive presenters, who create a space that is both welcoming and invites participants to challenge existing ideas and world views. Well done and thank you FIC. – Claire Ogden
