LGBTQ+ and Transgender-Safe Living – Akron, Ohio
We are a small but growing LGBTQ+ and transgender-safe community located in the Akron area. Founded by Trinity, a 47-year-old transgender woman and veteran, and Kaitlyn, a 22-year-old cisgender woman, our community is built on the belief that everyone deserves a place to live authentically, safely, and peacefully.
Our mission is to create a supportive, inclusive environment where individuals and couples can share housing, friendship, and mutual respect — without income sharing or pressure to conform to a strict communal structure.
We value:
Respect – honoring everyone’s identity, privacy, and boundaries.
Safety – ensuring a space free from discrimination, judgment, or hostility.
Compassion – supporting one another through life’s challenges and joys.
Independence – each member manages their own finances and healthcare while contributing to shared living in fair, agreed-upon ways.
Our community is currently forming, starting with a shared rental home as we grow and build toward purchasing land for a long-term, self-sustaining space.
We welcome LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, and anyone who believes in equality, kindness, and peaceful living. Whether you’re looking for connection, shared housing, or simply a safe circle of friends — you’re invited to reach out and be part of our vision.
