This community is an experiment in cooperative living on a small plot of land, the goal is to live more fulfilling lives by working together and affording the free time to explore and play in the Ozarks.
Our land is located near great mountain bike trails, paintball fields, the Illinois River, and the Ozark National Forest. We are interested in building community businesses and in establishing a non-car travel route between Northwest Arkansas and Springfield Missouri.
This community is intended to be a safe harbor for those looking to live in a safe and respectful environment.
Members of this community agree to respect the space and autonomy of all other members.
It shouldn’t be so hard to afford to exist. Members agree to support our community and common areas by contributing to a fund that is used for utilities, family meals, maintenance, and upgrades. This is an income sharing agreement and is something we are working on developing in a fair way.
New members are selected by current members through a multiple visit process and e-mail correspondence.
Our community is located on a very small rural farm. We have a few outbuildings and a large area that will become a common area.
Housing isn’t provided directly, but we are open to creative solutions such as portable buildings or tiny whatevers or some sort.
Rural setting, 5 min drive into town.

——- that is working to co-create a collectivist, mutually-defensive, and sustainable community. We seek to explore and practice this way of life through restorative/transformative justice, permaculture and sustainable agriculture, partial income-sharing; providing a safe place for leftists to learn, work, organize, & train; and the common holding of expenses, land, and resources. Besides engaging in community, we want to act for global systemic change. We seek to accomplish this by stewarding a larger culture of anti-authoritarian & anti-capitalist collectivism around us to empower this possibility. We acknowledge we can’t be free until everyone is free.

Our goal is to thrive together but we’re not shooting for completely shared finances. We hope to use entrepreneurship to bring in resources to our community, but we don’t discourage people from working outside jobs if they are happy doing so and it works for the location we have.
