What we do

A clothing optional, off-grid sanctuary for visionary, intuitive, Earth-loving humans!
A new community of visionary people, doing what feels the most like themselves, living harmony with nature, is sprouting in the tropical rainforest of Central America.

We know that nature provides, and are dedicated to living in concert with the lush ecosystem in the balanced cultivation of food forests, permaculture gardens, natural cob housing, off-grid power and chemical-free lives.

The forest quiet is sacred—this is where we hear our souls and move in our innocence in clothing-optional and gift/trade economy community.

We are art, we are poetry, we are nature— we’re all in this together.

I. Consciousness, Meditation & Metaphysics

Everything is consciousness, everything has a soul that wants to be felt and understood.

Our community is based in soul expressing through body in a life that feels the most like you.

Life is inherently a psychic and telepathic experience, and we embrace experiencing emotions as information about the past, present and future.

We communicate with land, plants, animals, people who’ve passed away, angels, and our fellow humans from our vulnerable true nature, knowing our peaceful, playful relationships with all beings are created by doing what feels the most like us, and collaborating with those who are doing the same.

II. Clothing-Optional

We value nonsexual, social nudity in nature because we feel like art and part of the ecosystem when we’re nude.

Being naked in nature together creates a connection back to our innocence, allows us to be freely in touch with the elements, and celebrates the beautiful bodies of all people, plants and animals we share our land with.

Clothing is optional and nudity is never required— we invite you to dress for comfort, connection and what feels the most like you in any moment.

III. Off-Grid

Well cared for people take good care of the earth.

We’re into power supplies that are off the grid, including rainwater capture, solar and alternate energy supplies.

As much as possible, we want to eat from the land through permaculture, biodynamic farming, food forest, foraging and other sustainable, regenerative systems that feed us and the ecosystem at the same time.

We’re also equipping members who wish to generate income remotely and connect with the world with strong Wi-Fi.

IV. Earthen Homes & Community Spaces

Each family is worth their own home space on the land, and has a dedicated space to create it.

We value natural building, including cob, earthship and more, and encourage community members to create their homes creatively with minimal power tools and machinery.

The sounds of nature are sacred to us, and we find abundance in minimal synthetic sounds and substances.

Community and common spaces are created to share, collaborate and eat together.

V. Gift & Trade Economy

We are deeply energized by alternate economics where people do what feels the most like themselves in gift and trade with others doing the same.

We know each person is valuable inherently and makes their best contributions through the things that feel the most like them.

We trust that we’re all in this together, and share our resources, gifts, surpluses and incomes in a way that feels natural, safe and healthy for the entire ecosystem.

VI. Masculine/Feminine Polarity

We value the natural design of  masculine/feminine polarity, letting masculine men lead and feminine women receive.

We value feminine women to be fluid, feeling and sensitive, nurturing the innocent beings in the community and inspiring beauty with intuition through their wild body.

We value masculine men to protect, provide, initiate, structure, create safety and serve the greater good of the community through their soul mission.

We encourage a total economy of women and men doing what feels the most like themselves, giving from surplus and receiving from others in their most natural state of being.

VII. Location

We are currently looking for tropical rainforest land in Costa Rica and Brazil.

Our intended land has:

-lots of sun and some shaded tree areas year round, with some flat, clear land to build earthen homes

-red clay or an even more artistic earth to build cob housing and our living, breathing earth sculpture garden

-65-82 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures year round— temperatures and ecosystem to comfortable to be nude in nature

-quiet jungle that’s lush, great for growing and foraging food, comfortable for all our animal companions, no road sounds, flight path above, power tools or loud music for a happy nervous system

-spacious amount of land (40 acres, enough to hike, exercise and feel alive) so our community of sensitive, conscious, nude people can express year round

-fresh year round water source on the land that fulfills all our water needs

-easy setup for Wi-Fi so we can keep in touch with friends and family who don’t live with us on the land

-gentle to no wind

-rural but situated within 1 hour of larger towns.

VIII. Desired Co-Founders

All members are co-founders and co-owners, we’re actively building our community together, in partnership with nature, from the ground up by each doing what feels the most like ourselves, and collaborating in a harmonizing network with each other.

We’re open to our true soulmates and soul family, who feel the most like themselves in these expressions:

-Land Owners – Tropical Rainforest
-Permaculturist
-Biodynamic Farmer
-Food Forest Expert
-Foragers & Herbalists
-Organic Cooks
-Off-Grid Natural Builders (cob, earthship, etc)
-Solar, Water and Natural Power Source Experts
-Natural Medicine Herbalist/Doctor
-Massage Therapist
-Tattoo Artist
-Social Media Guru
-Experienced Philanthropy & Donor Expert
-Soulful Musicians, Eco Artists and Intuitives

VIV. Meet our Founder, Chelsea

Chelsea MacLeod Schultz (@chelseamschultz) is a psychic medium, earth sculptor and portrait artist who feels the soul in everything.

She communicates with trees, people who have passed away, angels and the human energy field, and feels the most herself when she’s naked, sculpting clay and soil into human forms in the tropical rainforest

After growing up in a conservative, Christian, blue collar suburb of Detroit, MI, Chelsea travelled the U.S. and started feeling more at home on Earth by living off-grid, in tune with nature and in clothing-optional communities.

Chelsea created Peaceful Play Clothing-Optional Ecovillage as a deep reflection of what’s always been in her heart— that we are nature, we are poetry, we are art in motion.

Our Vision

We are art, we are poetry, we are nature.

Peaceful Play Ecovillage is a clothing optional, off-grid sanctuary for visionary, intuitive, Earth-loving humans who do what feels the most like them and experience the soul in everything.

Our Mission

We are art, we are poetry, we are nature.

Peaceful Play Ecovillage is a clothing optional, off-grid sanctuary for visionary, intuitive, Earth-loving humans who do what feels the most like them and experience the soul in everything.

Water Birch Co-op. Urban living in central Denver.

Large, lovely house built in 1900, two blocks from Cheeseman Park in downtown Denver.  5000 square feet. The house was a Buddhist Meditation Center for 20 years before we got it and has lovely, calm vibes. We currently have ten people and have room for one more. We are an intentional community sharing dinners, 3 living rooms, 2 new kitchens and a kitchenette, & 5 baths. Staple food (organic) is bought together. The group is self-regulating as a co-op; it decides together how the house runs. There are chores ;-) Average cost per room is about $1000 ranging from $650 to $1354. Currently available room is $875. We are just finishing renovation of three bedrooms on the third floor  they are $875 each and share our largest, newest bath (shower and separate claw foot tub) and a brand new kitchenette  they all have beautiful windows and lots of light. PLEASE CHECK OUT COMMUNITY LISTINGS FOR MORE INFO. Initial lease for 3-6 months while we and you decide if we are a good fit for each other.  Deposit in the amount of one months rent is required prior to move in.  We do background checks on all members. Utilities are currently $130 per person per month and are all-inclusive.  They will change if costs go up, that amount is insufficient to cover utilities, or more people mean the cost per person goes down.  WiFi is via mesh network from gig-speed fiberoptic service.  Heat is with radiators.  Cooling is evaporative.  We have a storage room in a nearby commercial facility.  And a new large workshop in the garage. Shared food is $125 per month per person; it is a pass-through cost divided evenly among residents; it does NOT include meat or alternative protein nor any alcohol.  We will not be surprised if that needs to go up some soon ($10 or 15). We have two dogs and three cats in the house  that seems like a sufficient quantity of furry friends for now. Our community intentions include: Communication with compassion. Shared space and life. Shared meals. Shared staple foods which are non-GMO and Organic. Group decision making. Safe, inclusive space: queer and trans friendly, anti-racist, non-violent, and feminist. The purchase of the house by the co-op in about five years. The expansion of the co-op, possibly to include other housing types (like separate apartments). Weekly meetings and house committees to manage our community. We are considering implementing Sociocracy as an organizing method. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am. We are looking for community members who: Want to live in a community not just have a place to sleep and eat. Want to live in a beautiful, clean, and organized house and are willing to help make and keep it that way. Residents should expect to spend 16 hours per month towards this goal. Are curious, compassionate, flexible, and open to living with others who will undoubtedly have different ideas about many things. Are interested in pioneering a new co-op. There will be work involved to get there. Are responsible and communicative. Embrace enthusiastically that living in community requires introspection and personal growth. Are not joining the community as a way of running away from something.
