What we do

Dabbler Farm is a 3 acre organic farm in Benton County, Oregon in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The farm sits in a green well watered valley in the foothills of the Pacific Coast Mountains. The farm is operational and growing. Currently it houses vegetable production, orchards, a pond, grazing fields, chickens, rabbits, and hydroponics. We are currently expanding into sheep and goats.

We are located in the County near the city limits of Corvallis which provides access to markets, employment opportunities, and proximity to Oregon Statue University. OSU is a world leader in research on sustainable agriculture and responses to climate change.

Our methods are a combination of traditional no till farming methods amplified and combined with modern approaches and research. Our aim is to create a sustainable form of agriculture that can meet, as much as possible, the food needs of the small community engaging the farm. The farm serves as a test and experimental station on methods for growing vegetables in small spaces that can be replicated on home or urban scale. Similar operations are sometimes identified as homesteading or permaculture and we share many values with those communities.
