What we do

Ecogranja Wiphala

We are a Colombian Dutch family with three kids that moved from Holland to Colombia to make our dreams come true.

So here we are in Calarcá Quindio on an abandoned 10 hà farm trying to establish a community following permaculture principles while raising our kids through homeschooling.

Our interest:
– permaculture
– homeschooling, ala Waldorf
– reforestation
– gift economy, living in the gift
– sovereignty
– shamanism
– harmonise the ways of hunter gatherers of old, with modern technology and Colombian farm life.

Our Vision

As we get to establish our place and build on the basics of what could be a rich community, we hope to one day receive other kids for our educational program. To teach permaculture techniques and holistic farming practices, welcome travelers of all kinds, teach yoga, and help young adults lost in the contradictions of modern life ground themselves through offering them an honest, humbling and warming experience.
