What we do

Vidalia is a community based in the nearly abandoned mill-town and industrial heritage site of Cal Vidal. By car it’s approximately one hour from Barcelona. The community is organized through a housing cooperative. We are a group of practical idealists.  Our governance is through sociocracy 3.0.

Our Vision

Restore and renovate the old Colonia Vidal textile housing estate to develop a community project for a large group of people to live, work and grow.
Bringing possibilities, meaning and belonging to the lives of those involved.
Creating a project that supports the personal lives and projects of its members and, as part of a wider network, serves to create a more sustainable, just and compassionate world.
