We have recently started a new intentional community called Makarioi within a house we purchased in a larger intentional community eco-village in Berlin, MA called Mosaic Commons. There is space for 4 individuals or small households to each have a private bedroom along with a shared kitchen, living room, and finished attic. There is also a large common house in the larger community. We are seeking to root this community in 4 shared values: Social Justice, Spirituality, Sustainability, and Healing. We expect to have openings in the community within the next few months. New housemates would have a 3-month trial period and then be offered a one-year lease if the community approves by consent. After that we’d explore possibilities for shared ownership of the house.
